According to the order and instruction of the Chairman of the Primary Executive Committee (PEC) “Khiradmandon” of the People s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) at the Tajikistan National Academy of Sciences (TNAS), Professor Kobiljon Khushvakht Khushvakhtzoda and the activity plan of the primary organization “Afkanishot” - PEC “Khiradmandon” of the PDPT at TNAS with the participation of the Deputy PEC “Khiradmandon” of the PDPT at TNAS - Shirin Kurbonova, on May 6, 2024, in the hall of the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security of TNAS a political reading dedicated to the week of memory of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) participants was held.

At the event, Deputy PEC "Khiradmandon" PDPT in TNAS - Kurbonova Shirin and First Deputy Director of the Agency for CBRN Safety and Security at TNAS - Akhmedov Matin made speeches on the history, essence and life of Tajik heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

It should be noted that Tajikistan played an important role in the victory in the Great Patriotic War, sending more than 300 thousand brave soldiers to the front at the beginning of the war, as well as providing the Soviet army with clothing and food. "Today and in the future, we proudly recall that the noble and worthy young men of Tajikistan also made a worthy contribution to ensuring the historic victory together with all the peoples who fought against the fascist tyranny," the Leader of the Nation noted in one of his speeches dedicated to "Victory Day."

 
During this event, Bakhtiyor Barotov, Deputy Director of the Agency for CBRN Safety and Security at TNAS, was awarded a certificate and a souvenir for winning first place in the Republican Competition “Science is a Source of Enlightenment”.
 

In conclusion, the management and staff of the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security at the TNAS expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Chairman of the PEC "Khiradmandon" of the PDPT, Shirin Kurbonova, and noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and the Meyor of the Dushanbe city Rustami Emomali annually honor veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the eve of celebrations and ceremonies.
