TERRORISM AND EXTREMISM ARE A COMMON THREAT TO THE WORLD COMMUNITY
Terrorism and extremism, on the one hand, as the plague of the century, represent a serious global threat, and on the other hand, their actions show that a terrorist has no homeland, no nation, no religion and no faith. At the same time, it is a threat to the international community and to the life of every inhabitant of the planet. Emomali Rahmon
Terrorism is a type of policy, ideology or action consisting of threats, pressure, violence against individuals, groups of people, society, government, state institutions, the state and its system of governance, aimed at achieving political, economic, ideological and geopolitical goals. Extremism is a call for unrest, a call for the assuming of power.
Terrorism is legally defined as follows: "It is the commission of actions that create a threat of death to people using physical means, with the aim of eliminating political opponents, violating public safety, intimidating the population or influencing the authorities so that they make decisions that are pleasing to the terrorists." In the context of growing tension in the global political environment, its rapid changes and events, the intensification of interstate and interreligious conflicts and the growth of trans-border organized crime, the protection of the country's borders and the protection of the security of the state and the nation are considered to be of primary and vital importance issues to us.
The current state of the region and the world makes law enforcement agencies, national security agencies and military structures to seriously strengthen their activities and be always ready to perform the tasks that are set before them today. The latest events in the world, that is, the further aggravation of the situation, show that terrorism and extremism have become the main dangers of the modern world. The scope of activities of terrorist organizations is increasingly expanding, and their activities, including in our neighboring country - Afghanistan, have further complicated the situation. Today, terrorism and extremism, like the plague of the century, threaten the security of the country, the world and every inhabitant of the planet and pose no less a danger to humanity than nuclear weapons.
As the Leader of the Nation emphasized: “Terrorism and extremism, like the plague of the century, pose a serious global threat, and their actions show that a terrorist has no homeland, no nation, no religion, and no faith. At the same time, it is a threat to the international community and the life of every inhabitant of the planet. These catastrophic manifestations have nothing to do with religion, including Islam, and are carried out under the name of Islam for dark and biased political purposes.” Special organizations use all means and opportunities to prepare such suicide bombers and instill in the hearts of these people a feeling of hatred and disgust, destruction of the opposite side. They even influence such people to such an extent that they abandon their fathers, mothers, wives, children and all their property and commit such a disgusting act.
Experts divide terrorism into three types:
1. Political, 2. Nationalistic, 3. Religious. The most terrible and tragic type is religious terrorism. This is a deadly act that hides under the guise of religion and fights under its flag. A striking example is the actions of the terrorist organization called "the Islamic State" all over the world. In this form of terrorism, the "victim" is the followers of one religion, and the opposite side is the followers of another religion, often these shameful actions are carried out under the concept of "Jihad", so we warn the deceived and potential victims to stay away from these dangerous actions, because they do not benefit from it. It should be known that it consists of bias and interests of certain organizations and individuals. They come under the guise of Islam and convince their victims that as a result of the brutal execution of "infidels" they seem to become inhabitants of paradise, but in fact they realize their own interests.
Contradictions, disagreements, non-conciliation, giving superiority and preference to various religious movements and sects are one of the sources of such barbaric actions, and as a result, mosques, churches, places of worship and sacred places for people become targets of terrorists. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and a number of other countries where political and social inequality and religious conflicts have worsened, terrorist groups use the current situation to implement their hostile goals against innocent people. Committing terrorist acts in public places, on streets and avenues, in markets and in crowded places has become a common practice in these countries. The lack of compassion and mercy in evil and criminal people, ignorant of culture, knowledge, holiness and high human values, leads to the commission of the most disgusting actions and deeds, deprives people of the right to a peaceful life. It is very touching and sad to see the faces of orphaned and destitute children, widowed women and young people who died in their maturity. Man is born to live and enjoy life and live with dignity, and no one has the right to take his life except the Creator himself.
It is time for parents to keep their children under strict supervision. They must be protected from any political and religious parties, extremist and provocative groups and sects that sow discord. Children must be taught to understand the essence of the religion of Islam and explained to them the essence of Islam as a religion of friendship and companionship, and not a religion of war and bloodshed.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that every worthy person of the country must always protect national values, especially state independence and national unity, in the name of progress, development and prosperity of our ancestral land.
