Participation of the officers of the Agency for CBRN Safety and Security at the TNAS at the International Forum of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tajikistan
On April 26, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, on the initiative of the State Institution “National Patent and Information Center” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the International Forum of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tajikistan dedicated to the “Inventor’s Day” was held under the motto: “Invention: from idea to product”.
The main goal of the Forum is to promote the development of invention, the implementation of inventions in production, the development of human potential, and the search for a mechanism to support and encourage inventors and innovators.
The opening speeches were given by Dilrabo Mansuri, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda, President of the Tajikistan National Academy of Sciences(TNAS) and other distinguished guests. The forum was participated by representatives of ministries and departments, scientific and educational institutions, industrial experts, private sector entrepreneurs, as well as domestic and foreign inventors, in particular, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Eurasian Patent Organization, as well as representatives of Russia and Belarus.
The officers of the Agency for CBRN Safety and Security at the TNAS have presented their reports at this forum entitled: "Inventions, Innovations and Their Role in the Development of the National Economy", "Study and Popularization of Inventions", "Assessment of Intellectual Property and the Possibility of Commercialization of Inventions". Five institutes that have received a large number of patents for inventions in recent years were represented at the forum, including the Agency for CBRN Safety and Security at the TNAS.
It should be noted that the founder of national peace and unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon in his address to the Majlisi Oli called the development of the intellectual property sphere one of the ways to develop the country's economy, he also mentioned as the primary tasks: attracting talented people to innovation and invention, expanding the invention process, greatly increasing the level of knowledge, informing the public, implementing innovative projects, researching issues of the digital economy, mastering innovative technologies and introducing them into production.
