National clothing is a part of a person’s spiritual world.
enlightenment of the nation. Therefore, Tajik women and girls should respect national traditions in clothing and refrain from imitating alien cultures.
In his speech at a meeting with the activists, representatives of the public and religious figures of the country, held on March 9 of this year, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, regarding the tribute to Tajik national dress, particularly emphasized the following point of view: “The reality is that each nation, due to its cultural past, has special manners of behavior and traditions in clothing that reflect the material and spiritual values of its past, and each nation is recognizable by its language, culture and style of clothing.”
In fact, human civilization and the history of each nation are inseparably linked with clothing, expressing national identity, which differs from each other by various ethnic symbols. It is national clothing that clearly demonstrates the tastes of the people, their desire for beauty, love for beauty in different historical periods.
Our unique national clothing is formed on the basis of the ancient culture and civilization of our region, which not only reflects the appearance of our people, but also consolidates our spiritual ideology in the formation of world civilization.
The clothes, which a person wears create the first impression of him to others. The culture of wearing clothes expresses our attitude to the events around us. Clothes reflect a person's taste, worldview and behavior. Clothes are part of a person's spiritual world. Each of their elements really speaks for itself.
During the years of independence, under the leadership and consistent efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, our country is rapidly developing and is at the stage of development in all economic and social spheres, especially in the field of culture. Therefore, the culture of national clothing and its observance are as necessary as air, and their preservation and improvement are considered a sacred element for every person with honor and dignity, especially young women. At the same time, the necessary steps of designers and tailors of the country to design and develop national costumes for all segments of society will be very, very useful.
The national costumes that our ancestors wore in ancient times are beautiful and charming. These clothes belong to the Tajik people and represent our high culture and national values. At the same time, it adds to the well-being of our independent and prosperous country.
Therefore, it is important for us to observe our national Tajik customs and traditions in wearing clothes, so that in the modern era, full of shocks of globalization, not to lose our national identity and pass it on to future generations.
Finally, it is worth emphasizing that, along with other layers of society, scientists of the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security of the Tajikistan National Academy of Sciences conduct explanatory work among the population on the preservation of national culture, including the observance of national traditions in wearing clothes, the prevention of undesirable phenomena of superstition and worship of the alien, the promotion of achievements of science, technology and modern technologies, and thereby contribute to the promotion of state policy related to national values.
