Specialists of the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security at NAST, along with other fields of their activity, are also constantly engaged with scientific research and expeditionary activities to study and determine the radiation status in various districts of the country.

The next scientific expedition of the Officers of the Agency for CBRN Safety and Security at NAST to the Nurabad district from August 12 to 16 under the leadership of Farhod Hamidov, head of the department of scientific research, training and technical service, continues successfully.

In the framework of this research expedition, radiation monitoring is being carried out in all areas of the Nurabad district, during which employees are collecting soil and water samples using new and modern equipment for further analysis and evaluation.

It is important to emphasize that the main goal of this expedition is to study and conduct a general assessment of the radiation status of the Nurabad district territories and to develop a radiation map of this region.
