Within the framework of the XIV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS countries, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the interstate prize "Commonwealth Stars," awarded for achievements in the field of science and education, culture and art, was held in the Turkmen capital. The awards were presented by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bakhargul Abdyeva and Chairman of the Board of the IFGS, representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation Polad Bulbul-oglu.

Accordingly, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Doctor of chemical sciences, professor, founder and chief researcher of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Agency, Ulmas Mirsaidov became a laureate of the interstate prize from our country. Ulmas Mirsaidov is an expert in the chemistry of hydrogen compounds. Founder and head of the scientific school on hydrogen energy. The author of 450 scientific papers, the holder of 75 copyright certificates and patents. He was awarded the Order ”Dusti” and rewarded with medals dedicated to "10th Anniversary of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan" and "20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan." The laureates of the interstate prize "Commonwealth Stars" - 2018 were: People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Honored Artist, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra Rauf Abdullayev; People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Robert Elibekyan. The prize also conferred to the author's team of the Belarusian Institute of Powder Metallurgy named after Academician O.V. Roman - scientists Peter Vityaz, Alexander Ilyushchenko and Mikhail Andreev.

Among the awarded were also Kazakh poet, director of the publishing house "Zhazusha" Yesengali Raushanov, people's writer of the Kyrgyz Republic, President of the Film Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic Mar Baijiev, doctor of medical sciences. Moreover, the rector of the Moldovan State Medical and Pharmaceutical University Ion Ababiy, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences President of the Russian National Research Center Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk, People's Artist of Turkmenistan, Professor of the Department of Solo Singing at the Turkmen National Conservatory Atageldy Garyagdyev.
