A training course was held from January 21 to 23, 2014. During the training course, participants introduced to the basics of radiation and its effects on human health; a mobile nuclear and radioactive material detection system; nuclear smuggling and its examples, hand-held radiation detection equipment for secondary inspection, as well as practical exercises with various scenarios at the international airport of Dushanbe using special minibuses and equipment.
