The First International Scientific-Practical Conference: "The Role of Women Scientists in Science, Innovation, and Technology"
The First International Scientific-Practical Conference: "The Role of Women Scientists in Science, Innovation, and Technology" was held on December 15, 2020, at the Regional Training Center of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Agency of National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (NRSA NAST).
This Conference was organized by the Council of Young Scientists of NAST (Chairman - Ph.D. Mamadyusufova Menoo), the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Agency (Director, Dr. Mirsaizoda Ilhom), the Women Club «Women in Nuclear» at the NRSA (Chairman - Ph.D. Khakimova Nodira), and with the support of public and international relations department of NRSA.
The Conference was held in online/offline mode. Presentations have been prepared by women scientists who represented various public and State Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, including representatives of NAST, the Russian-Tajik Slavonic University, the Technology Research Center, the Institute of Mathematics, the Institute of Economics of NAST, and others. The event also attended by scientists from different foreign organizations as scientific institution "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Moscow, Russia; University of International Business, Almaty, Kazakhstan; Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, Almaty, Kazakhstan; Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk, Republic of Belarus; Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Gomel, Republic of Belarus; Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Kyiv, Ukraine; Beijing Genomics Institute, Beijing, China; US Department of Energy, and etc.
The conference highlighted various topics, including presentations in the field of biology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, nuclear physics, linguistics, jurisprudence, and etc.
Dr. Mirsaizoda Ilhom, Director of NRSA in his closing speech expressed a high appreciation and confidence in support of women scientists not only in their scientific activities, but also in public affairs, as well as strengthening their authority in society, and encouraged participants to join the women club "Women in Nuclear."
At the end of the conference, a decision has been made to hold this event annually with the participation of women scientists working in various fields of science. The Abstract of the Conference, including materials from the International Scientific-Practical Conference: "The Role of Women Scientists in Science, Innovation, and Technology" in Tajik, Russian, English, and other languages was prepared.
