On March 5, 2021, the Regional Training Center of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (NRSA NAST) was held an event dedicated to the celebration of Mother's Day on March 8 and the anniversary of the establishment of women association “Women in Nuclear” Tajikistan.

Director of NRSA NAST, Dr. Ilhom Mirsaizoda warmly congratulated all women on the upcoming holiday. He emphasized that Mother’s Day which is celebrating on 8 of March is associating with a deep respect for women, leadership, motherhood, and kindness. They skillfully combine family care with a professional career and inspire men to achieve their goals. In his speech, he expressed sincere gratitude for the work, patience, significant contribution and proactive approach in the promotion of WiN Tajikistan activities. He also added that women play an extraordinary and crucial role in the development of science. On this wonderful day, Mother's Day, the director wished all members of WiN Tajikistan and female employees of the Agency long years of life, happiness, good health, well-being, to remain always beautiful and beloved, and continue to fill our lives with joy and heartfelt warmth. The Director concluded his speech with the mention of important issues regarding the activities of WiN Tajikistan, and further plans, including the holding of the second international conference: "The role of women in science, innovation and technology."

The floor was also given to the Chairman of the women association WiN Tajikistan – Ph.D. Khakimova Nodira and the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan – Ph.D. Mamadyusufova Menu. The Chairman of WiN Tajikistan, Khakimova Nodira, also congratulated everyone on International Women’s Day. She stressed that one of the main goals of the association is to involve the young generation, especially girls in scientific activities. Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Mamadyusufova Menu expressed gratitude to the Director of NRSA for comprehensive support during the conference "The Role of Women in Science, innovation and technology" and joined warm congratulations.  

The national coordinators of the international association "Women in Nuclear" from the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan also joined the warm words of congratulations. Congratulated WiN Tajikistan with the anniversary of its establishment, as well as on joining the international women association WiN Global. At the end of the celebration, on behalf of the NRSA director, all participants were presented with symbolic gifts on the celebration of March 8.
