Implementation of IAEA National Project at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences
On December 28, 2021, the Director of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NANT visited the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences with the aim of implementing the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) National Project TAD5006 - Application of nuclear and molecular methods for diagnostics and control of transboundary animal diseases.
The meeting was attended by Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, Director of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST, Asozoda Nurali Mahmadullo, President of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Atovullozoda Rajabmurod, Director of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Within the framework of this project, a solar battery system was provided, five young specialists of the institute had fellowships in North Macedonia and one in Austria, where they studied the modern equipment and technologies for the diagnosis of infectious animal diseases, including zoonosis.
Within the framework of this project, it is planned to register the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the iVetNet system for further its accreditation according to ISO 17025 standards.
