The Director of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security Agency of National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST) Ilhom Mirsaidzoda delivered a welcoming speech. He congratulated participants with the Second anniversary of WiN Tajikistan formation and Mother’s Day. In his speech, he emphasized the important place that women occupy in our lives, science and social activities and wished the further development of WiN Tajikistan and the achievement of all its goals. Then the floor was handed to WIN representatives from other countries. They, in turn, congratulated all the WiN Tajikistan’s members with this significant day and wished them further prosperity and the creation of the Regional Network.

Nodira Khakimova - the President of WiN Tajikistan, introduced the members with agenda of the meeting, which included a report on the work done for 2021 and the election of a new President. 

The report included the information on II International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Role of Women Scientists in the Development of Science, Innovation and Technology”, held on August 16-20, 2021 in Gulistan, Tajikistan. She also mentioned the charity events carried out by the WiN Tajikistan’s members, informational lectures held for high school students and cultural events.

According to the agenda of the meeting, elections of new President of National Chapter WiN Tajikistan of WiN Global  were held. 

The new President of WiN Tajikistan became Ms. Zarina Sayfieva – Head of Education and Training Services Section of CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST. The new deputies became Sharofova Mizhgona – Dr., Head of  biotechnology laboratory of Center for Innovative Development of Science and New Technologies of NAST and Director of Avicenna Institute of Medicine and Pharmacology, and Kayumova Dilorom – PhD, Leading researcher at the laboratory "Quality of water, isotopes and sanitation" at the State Scientific Institution "Center for the Study of Glaciers of Tajikistan” of NAST.

The new President of the WiN Tajikistan became Sayfieva Zarina, Head of education and training services section, Director of Regional Training Centre on WMD non-proliferation and Export control for Countries of Central Asia, Caucasus and Afghanistan of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST. The new Vice Presidents became Sharofova Mijgona (Doctor of Medical Sciences) - Head of the Biotechnology Laboratory of the Center for Innovative Development of Science and New Technologies of NAST and part-time Director of the Avicenna Institute of Medicine and Pharmacology and Kayumova Dilorom - PhD., leading researcher of the "Water Quality, Isotopes and Sanitary" Laboratory in the State Scientific Institution of "Tajikistan Glacier Research Center of NAST".
