On October 14, 2022, an official ceremony of handing over the nuclear and radioactive detection equipment to the Ministry of the Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan was held within the framework of the National Action plan of the Republic of Tajikistan on the implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1540.

Ilhom Mirsaidzoda – the National coordinator, Director of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security Agency (CBRN SSA), and Anvar Akhmadjonzoda, Head of Division - Head of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Troops of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan have participated in the ceremony.

Before handing over the equipment, on October 10-14, the Regional Training Center (RTC) on weapons of mass destruction non-proliferation and export control for countries of Central Asia, Caucasus, and Afghanistan under the CBRN SSA had held a training course on the utilization of transferred equipment for the representatives of the Ministry of Defense. Following the collaboration, an agreement was reached on conducting the training courses in RTC for the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan.
