As part of WiN Tajikistan activities to encourage interest to science among youth on February 7 to 10, 2023, career guidance classes were held with school graduates, including young girls.

WiN Tajikistan’s member - Gaibullaeva Zumrat, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Tajik Technical University named after acad. M.S. Osimi visited secondary rural schools in the Firdavsi district of Dushanbe, such as: Somon, Dareobod, Kahramon, Shainak, Obchakoron and Gulbutta.

During a meeting with school graduates and young girls, Gaibullaeva Zumrat spoke about the specialties at universities, about modernized educational programs and conditions for training of highly qualified specialists.

Graduates, especially girls, showed the great interest in continuing their studies at universities. At the meeting there were many questions regarding specialties in exact sciences and engineering, duration of studies at universities and their forms, living conditions and equipment of laboratories with modern instruments and equipment, provision of work after graduation, and others.

Gaibullaeva Zumrat, answering questions from graduates and girls, held an explanatory conversation about the role of an educated person in modern developing Tajikistan, the role of an educated woman in society and in the family, the participation of an educated woman in science and culture and the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for women and young girls, which are reflected in a number of official documents.
