In the social policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, serious attention is paid to the issue of increasing the status of women in society. The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is implementing a set of measures for this purpose, as well as measures to ensure compliance with their constitutional rights, expand social and labor activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and improve the level of education.

WiN Tajikistan, as part of its activities, holds various events, creating comfortable environment for the active participation of women in science, culture, and social life. Particular attention in the work of WiN Tajikistan is paid to support women and youth in professional development and improvement of skills, promoting the knowledge and experience exchange.

Member of WiN Tajikistan, Doctor, Professor - Gaibullaeva Zumrat, in the framework of WiN Tajikistan’s workplan regarding youth career guidance, during two months from December 4, 2023 to January 23, 2024 took part as a trainer in short-term training courses for women and youth of Khatlon region with possible attraction them to work at OJSC “AZOT” and other industrial enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan.

180 students took part in the training, including women and girls from Khatlon region. Participants received professional training in the following specialties: chemical production operators, electricians, gas and electric welders, instrumentation and automation electricians, pump and compressor equipment mechanics, equipment technicians, chemical analysis laboratory assistants. After successful completion of the courses, students owned certificate of profession acquisition. According to the mastered profession, students can get a job both at OJSC "AZOT" and at other industrial enterprises of the country.
