In order to explain the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon to the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and declaring 2020-2040 "Twenty years of study and development of natural, exact and mathematical sciences in the field of science and education", on the initiative of the Branch of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Sughd region held a scientific-theoretical seminar on "Radiation Safety" at the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan in Buston town.

At this seminar, Begmurat Boboev, deputy director of the branch of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST in Sughd region, told the audience about the main theses of the message, the key role of science and education in the development and progress of society, ways to increase the role of youth in the development of natural, exact and mathematical sciences.

It should be noted that this seminar was held on the basis of the NANT Board Decision No. 90 of January 22, 2024 and according to the order of the Director of the CBRN Security Agency of NANT No. 24 of January 23, 2024. Meanwhile, other meetings and events continue to be held in parallel, according to the plan.

At this seminar specialists of the Agency's Sughd Branch presented on the topics "Radioactive storage facilities and radiation safety of the population of Sughd Region" and "Radiation situation in the modern world and Tajikistan".

Also during the workshop, students and faculty received complete and satisfactory answers to their questions.
At the end, the management of the institute expressed gratitude to the officials of the Branch Office of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST.
