At March 7, 2024 at the Regional Training Center of CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan in the framework of activities of WiN Tajikistan to strengthen national identity and create comfortable environment for the active participation of women and young girls in cultural and public life in order to revive and maintain traditions of national cuisine, popularization of healthy food and a healthy lifestyle, as well as the creative realization of contest participants, the annual contest “Dastarkhoni Taomhoi Milli” has been held, devoted to the national holiday Mother’s Day.

The contest was held among master's students of National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan under the guidance of Head of Department of Master's, Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Azizkhonova Rukhshona and consisted of preparing a national dish and its presentation.

In his opening remarks, Ilhom Mirsaidzoda - Director of CBRN Safety and Security Agency, Doctor of Technical Sciences thanked all the contestants for participating in the contest and a creative approach in the design of dishes. He also noted the importance of preserving national traditions in the preparation of dishes, especially among young generation. He congratulated everyone with upcoming national holiday of Mother's Day and the Spring Feast of Navruz and wished peace, goodness, health, happiness and prosperity.

Gaybullaeva Zumrat Khabibovna - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Tajik Technical University named after M. Osimi, the host of the contest briefly spoke about the conditions of the contest, participants, the composition of the jury and counting commission. Zumrat Khabibovna congratulated everyone with upcoming holidays and wished the contestants good luck.

The contest participants creatively approached the tasks and tried to surprise the jury not only with the delicious traditional national dishes of Tajikistan, but also with national clothes of various regions of the republic, interesting presentations, including historical information about the dishes. The contest was complemented by colorful creative performances.
